The Aalto Platforms deliver internal Joint Strategic Funding for supporting multidisciplinary, cross-School collaboration and international collaboration. The call is opened twice a year, in the spring and in the autumn.
In autumn 2018, Aalto seed funding (TOT 690K€) was available for three different kinds of funding instruments (A, B & C) and for two additional non-recurring instruments for digitization related topics (D & E) :
A) funding for major external funding project preparation,
B) funding for Aalto in-house mobility,
C) funding for new multidisciplinary openings,
D) Digitalization Call for Open Data/Open research funding,
E) Funding for digitalization in research
In this round following experience -related projects were funded:
